Meet Dr. Rick Liggett, DC

I am on a mission to achieve optimum health! It all started as a child during Sunday dinners with the family. Talk of anticipation to eat Grandma’s fried chicken were reasons why we gathered in large numbers. Little did we know that the ailments and afflictions of our entire family, discussed at that same dinner table were related to bad things we were eating at Grandma’s house. The medical bills, horrific discussions, and declining health of my family gave me a mission.

Now we know that food can heal the body or slowly poison it. For example, we know now that heated seed oils cause oxidative stress and can lead to many ailments as they accumulate in the body. These can be avoided so the body can heal.

Steps on that health journey included a chiropractic degree from Logan College of Chiropractic in 2001 and countless hours of continuing education. I am confident that I am on the path to achieving optimum health, thriving and functioning at the highest level possible. I believe we are transformed by changing how we think about our health and well-being; no longer conditioned to accept that which does not embody who God created us to be.

Our “golden years” do not need to be spent as a broken vessels plagued by medical bills and prescription drugs.  While still in high school, I knew that my journey that would lead learning techniques to heal the body naturally.  I’ve focused on chiropractic care, Nutrition Response Testing, and Splankna (a technique that sounds like it belongs in a Harry Potter book). It continually amazes my clients when they embrace the technique.

I’m practicing what I teach. Feeling lighter, stronger, and clearer in the mind than ever in my life.  I’m on a mission to help others achieve their best selves. Isn’t that what life is all about- thriving and functioning at the highest level possible?
